Every enchanted place has a story about how it began.

For The Enchanted Forest, that story starts with Anita, the creative heart behind Mosquita Miniatures.

If it weren’t for Anita, the forest as we know it simply wouldn’t exist. She was the one who discovered the shop space, fell in love with its potential, and gently convinced both Sognia and Sarah that we could create something truly special together.

What began as an idea soon grew into the magical little world that now lives at 21 Love Street in Cloverdale - a place filled with creativity, imagination, tiny wonders and a sprinkling of magic.

The World of Mosquita Miniatures

Through her business Mosquita Miniatures, Anita has spent years creating and curating beautiful fairy garden treasures.

Her shelves are filled with enchanting miniature worlds - tiny fairy houses tucked beneath mushrooms, playful gnomes hidden among plants, delicate fairies perched beside flowers, and magical creatures like unicorns and mermaids waiting to be discovered.

These miniature pieces invite people to imagine small hidden worlds living quietly within their gardens, homes, and terrariums.

For many visitors, Mosquita Miniatures is where their love of fairy gardens begins.

Creating Living Miniature Worlds

One of Anita’s most loved creations is her handmade terrariums.

Each one is carefully designed and planted to create a tiny living landscape - a self-contained world of greenery, texture and miniature magic. Within these glass gardens you might find tiny fairy cottages, woodland creatures, or whimsical decorative pieces nestled among moss and plants.

Every terrarium is unique, blending Anita’s love of nature with her passion for storytelling through miniature scenes.

Alongside the terrariums, Anita also offers the plants, materials and miniature accessories that allow customers to create their own magical gardens at home.

She regularly hosts a wide range of craft workshops and events inside The Enchanted Forest, welcoming people of all ages to come and make something magical.

Kids Drop-In Craft Sessions
Every Sunday, the forest comes alive with Anita’s Kids Drop-In Craft Sessions, where young makers can create imaginative projects in a relaxed and creative space. This drop-in craft has proven so popular that Anita is now hosting "Little Sprites" drop-in craft sessions on Thursdays during the school term. 

Birthday Parties & Private Events
From children’s birthdays to adult crafting nights, Anita hosts private craft sessions filled with creativity and laughter.

Teen & Adult Craft Workshops
Perfect for those who want to unwind, learn something new, and spend a few hours creating.

Team Building & Group Workshops
Creative group sessions designed for workplaces, friends and community groups.

Craft with Anita

From enchanting terrariums and whimsical fairy gardens to creative miniature projects, Anita shares her knowledge in relaxed, hands-on workshops for children, teens, adults and corporate groups. Whether you come on your own, with friends or as part of a special event, you'll leave with new skills, wonderful memories and a magical creation to treasure.

Some of the workshops currently featured in the schedule include:

Terrarium Workshops
Participants can create their own living miniature garden inside a glass terrarium. Both kids' and adult terrarium workshops are available, with Anita guiding guests through the planting process and adding decorative miniature elements to complete their tiny worlds.

Making Minis
A fun and imaginative kids' workshop where young creators paint and decorate 3D-printed miniature figures. From fantasy creatures to whimsical characters, each child can bring their miniature to life with colour and personality.

Forest Glow Wreath
Create a magical woodland wreath inspired by the forest itself. Using natural textures, foliage and decorative elements, participants design a beautiful glowing wreath perfect for home décor.

Decoupage & Pot
A relaxed creative session where participants decorate plant pots using decoupage techniques before planting their own greenery to take home.
